Program overview (with screenshots)

  • With KLearnNotes2 you can ...

... train both treble and bass clefs:

  • At STOP you can ...

    • select testnotes by their name and range

In the following screenshots only C and G notes are activated (by checkboxes under namebuttons) and only in a range limited by range sliders (to the right of the staff). This is the first of preset lessons focused on gradual learning of successive notes.

    • ... click on a note to see its namebutton highlighted

    • ... or click on a namebutton to see all notes of this name

This way you can learn a correspondence: note's name <---> its position in the staff.

  • At TEST ...

    • you see a note, which is a question ...

and should click on its namebutton.

    • You get comments whether you answered right ...

(here I clicked on the 'C' namebutton)

      ... or wrong.

(here I clicked on the 'G' namebutton)

  • After a test ...

... your results will be commented and all notes you erred about will be clearly marked.
